Step 5 – Selling your House – Reviewing Offers
After all the hard work, you have finally received an offer for your home. If the house was priced correctly, then you should have more than one offer to review. Multiple offers clearly puts the seller in control. However, in Utah once a seller accepts a contract from a buyer then the seller is locked in unless the buyer defaults. The Utah Real Estate Contract clearly favors the buyer.
When reviewing offers, but be careful in accepting something that will only waste your time. Price is not the only thing that matters when selling a house. A high priced offer means nothing if they don’t eventually close.
