Lately I’ve been getting emails and reading more and more articles stating that all signs are pointing to a uptick in the Real Estate market. Experts say this and analysts say that, but who can really tell what is ahead. As long as rates continue to stay low the possibility is there.
I know that in late summer and early fall of 2012 there was a small spike. It was enough for refinances to jump because homes were appraising. It may not be like that everywhere, but it was like that in the Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia.
The Eastern Panhandle is a very unique area due to it’s proximity to Washing DC, Northern Virginia and much of Western Maryland. Economies are not booming here, but they are moving forward. Home prices have adjusted for the most part and I see homes being built again.
